How to Remove press-on nails
Step 1: Soak your nails
Soak your hands in warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes. This softens the adhesive and makes removal gentler. For extra effectiveness, add a few drops of cuticle oil to the water.
Step 2: Gently lift the edges
Using a wooden cuticle stick, carefully slide under the edge of the press-on nail. Wiggle gently to lift it—don’t force it if there’s resistance.
Step 3: Peel off slowly
Once the adhesive has softened, gently peel off the nail from side to side. Take your time—this prevents damage to your natural nails.
Step 4: Clean up residue
Use a cotton pad with a bit of oil or nail polish remover (acetone-free is ideal) to remove any leftover adhesive from your nails.
Step 5: Rehydrate
Finish with cuticle oil or hand cream to nourish your nails and skin.
